I connected with our community, sharing my journey as an international street artist, muralist and public speaker. There’s so much more to this story than most people see, so I’m happy to show the empowering adventure it took to get here.
I combined forces with teens at Shabazz High School to create this mini-mural, using their ideas on the focus of Growth. Inside this simple image is multiple layers of meaning, which came out of a design session, where we drew pictures of what came to mind and discussed what growth means for us.
The story began with a voice inside telling me to paint. I’ll take you on the adventure of my first times painting, how it grew into murals, solo and community projects, and what I envision for the future. A fun and heartfelt presentation with time to answer your questions.

The theme was to be a Wisconsin sunset with Savannah Oak trees, using the colors of the labels. The design is a beautiful and warm image, inviting beer drinkers (and non- they have NA craft cocktails, too) into the now completely renovated Herbiery Taproom.
So much focus, materials, measuring and mapping went into this piece, not to mention moving it took a lot. It was worth every moment to be able to share it with you.
Thank you to everyone who made it to my presentation “How to be Your Biggest Ally in Your Business.” I appreciate the opportunity to strengthen and encourage other artists.
Teacher Jennifer Vena Levesque has been wanting to work together to bring a mural to her school for years, and one day at the end of January, I received a random email that we could finally do it!
This mural is a reminder to honor wherever you’re at emotionally, and respect these “waves” are what we all go through. The location is at the end of Monona Drive, a highly trafficked area, when you get on and off the belt line in Monona, WI. This project has been in the making for 2 years for me and even longer for Madison Public Art Project, who put it together with the help of Kristie GoForth. To everyone who helped, thank you!
I’m creating a film project that will shift humanity through art, and I need your help to make it happen. Sponsors welcome! Working within the walls of jail, I’ve recently discovered how important it is to shed our differences, and allow ourselves to feel part of a community. Art has brought this connection throughout the ages, and it’s time for me to shed light on the power it holds.
In this 2 part workshop we carved our words into linoleum blocks. My favorite thing was bringing people from the community together who may not have otherwise met.
What an honor to be chosen to encourage young artists. The winner received a trip to Washington D.C. and their work will be on display in the Capitol tunnel for a year.
